"The Elmer Iseler Singers team up with the VIVA Singers of Toronto Chamber Choir and their conductors, Carol and Brad Ratzlaff, in a concert featuring songs of peace and a performance of Choral Canada's 2018 National Award winning Words, Stories, Truth: a Trilogy in Honour of Canada's Indigenous Peoples by composer Mark Sirett and poet Vera Wabegijig, an Aboriginal poet and artist from the Mississauga First Nation and Wikwemikong Unceded Reserve community."


Concert: Remembrance Day - Fauré's Requiem

"The program will highlight works by young local composers Emily Green (ORYC alumna) and Nicholas Piper (CCC member) as well as popular works by Eleanor Daley and the famous "Agnus Dei" by Samuel Barber - also known as "Adagio for Strings" where you may have heard in award-winning movies such as 1986's "Platoon"!"

 10 Years After: Capital Chamber Choir celebrates with Path of Miracles

"The CCC has always had a focus on presenting new works, particularly by younger composers who are working hard to make a start. This year we featured works by Emily Green and Madox Terrell, both members of the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, an ensemble that we work with regularly. We believe we have an important role to play in providing performance opportunities for the next generation of choral musicians and to encourage the creation of new works for choirs."

"It has been a very busy season for all of our Choristers and we are now coming up to ORYC's Spring Concert including Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass accompanied by chamber orchestra. This concert will also feature three works by our own choristers: Emily Green, Yann McHaffie and Madox Terrell. We are so proud of the many young talented and dedicated musicians working with our organization this season."

Canadian Connections featuring Ottawa's Capital Chamber Choir and the Canadian Chamber Choir

The Canadian Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Julia Davids, will present 'Canadian Connections' - a concert of all Canadian music on the first stop of their tour in Ottawa!
This exciting evening of music will also feature the Capital Chamber Choir under the direction of Jamie Loback and will include two premieres by young local composers, @madox_terrell and @emily_green__
